Radisson targets 150 Indian Park Inns with new strategic alliance

Radisson Hotel Group has entered into a strategic alliance with Indian company Ruptub Solutions Private Limited to launch its new midscale brand, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, in the country.

The group is looking to double its presence in India with nearly 150 hotels and resorts to be added by 2025.

Identifying conversions

Ruptub operates a nationwide chain of over 1,000 properties in over 120 cities across India under the “Treebo” brand. Launched in 2015, the company is backed by renowned investors such as Matrix Partners India, Elevation Capital and Ward Ferry Management, among others.

The partnership will identify and convert rapid commercialization opportunities targeting the development of a network of 150 Park Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels over the next decade. Both entities will channel their respective strengths in asset management, technology, business development and access to global distribution and sales systems to create value-driven experiences for customers and owners.

The group has more than 150 Indian hotels in operation and under development at more than 60 sites. It continues to be the largest hotel operator in tier 1 markets like Delhi NCR and at the same time more than 50% of its portfolio is in tier 2 and 3 markets where it has benefited from being the first actor. It expects nearly 50% of business conversions in the future to be driven by these markets and has delivered on this vision by opening hotels under multiple brands in places like Katra, Surat, Nashik, Bhopal and Jammu. . Park Inn sites under development include the upcoming Park Inn by Radisson Jabalpur, delivering 115 keys in Q1 2023; the 80-room Park Inn by Radisson Vellore which will arrive in the fourth quarter of 2023; and Park Inn by Radisson Prayagraj, a 100-key site completed in Q4 2025.
