Downtown Chattanooga Alliance Selects Kelly Fitzgerald as Board Chair

The Downtown Chattanooga Alliance changes direction when Kelly Fitzgerald is elected chair of the board.

Ms. Fitzgerald is a dedicated community leader who has been with the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance since its inception in 2020 and previously served as Vice President and Executive Committee Member. In addition to being a member of the DCA Board of Directors, Ms. Fitzgerald serves on numerous boards, including those of the Chattanooga Design Studio, the Chattanooga Trade Area, and the Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga.

“Kelly was involved in the creation of DCA and was always there every step of the way,” said DCA Executive Director Steve Brookes. “She will bring strong leadership skills and deep community knowledge to our team.”

Currently, Ms. Fitzgerald is Vice President of Commercial Brokerage for SVN Second Story Real Estate Management. She has completed several transactions on a variety of retail and office projects for landlords and tenants, ranging from local to institutional, across the South. A background in construction and architecture gives him a deep understanding of complex projects from start to finish, allowing him to quickly deliver smart strategies that benefit all parties, officials said.

Experience working with tenants, developers, vendors and business owners places Ms. Fitzgerald at the helm of the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance. Additionally, she founded Society of Work, a membership-based shared office space designed to create a culture of hard workers, located in the DCA Business Improvement District.
